A new charity WordPress site launching today for the Cork Autism Association. The guys at Cork Autism had a really old WordPress site, that had been blocked from the search engines and was generally just a little drab and in need of a 2012 makeover.
The first move was some new SEO Friendly Hosting and a new .ie domain. Naturally I choose Spiral Hosting and to my surprise hosting and domain were free! This is something all Irish hosts do for registered charities, which is great.
The site is now fully updated with a brand new WordPress theme. I built the guys a simple PayPal donations plugin and all the other pre-packed WordPress goodies and SEO friendly widgets are there to keep the site fresh and easy to update, while SEO friendly.
Anyway the site indexed on page 1 before I had time to write this post, so I will be predicting the top spot for Cork Autism in 3-5 days, I would almost say my work here is already done.
