For those of you who tweet, you will be familiar with third party image hosting services such as Twitpic and Yfrog. Twitter has just announced a fairly radical change, you can now up directly upload images with your tweets. The principal is the same, images are uploaded and sent as links within the tweets, what the big deal. For the user nothing will change, in fact this if anything makes twitter easier to use and less reliant on third party integration.
This change is across the board so web or app users alike will be able to upload sans third party. There are also some new features coming to the way in which hastagged images are grouped, check out the video it explains it all and is quite nicely done.
